Preparations Continue for hosting “Estate
Qatar 2007: Qatar Property Investment Forum” in Doha on November
26-27, 2007 |

“Estate Qatar 2007” has quickly established a respectable
presence among the leading real estate events in the region
owing to a growing regional and international interest in the
Qatari real estate market” announced Chadi Abou Daher, Regional
Manager of World Trade Center Qatar, the organizer of the event.
This year Forum is expected to attract participants from all
around the Gulf States as well as from America, Europe, and
Asia. More than 400 delegates of real estate developers,
investors, and professionals coming from 23 countries are
expected to gather in Doha on the 26th and 27th of November.
Abou Daher indicated that the Forum shall discuss the latest
trends, investment opportunities, and lucrative potential
projects in the real estate market in the Gulf region in general
and Qatar in particular. It will offer insights into the latest
trends in investments and financial strategies, and analyze
hotspots and emerging real estate markets. He added that the
Forum will have a significant contribution to the promotion of
real estate project development and finances in Qatar and the
region and to the growing investors’ awareness of one of the
most developing real estate markets in the world.
The Forum is an important platform for launching new real estate
projects, promoting existing ones, and exploring new
partnerships. Abou Daher announced that sponsors include leading
real estate players and investment companies from across the
region in addition to a wide range of media sponsors. He
revealed that a number of new project launches have been
confirmed to be announced at Estate Qatar 2007.
The conference program will focus on many themes covering wide
range of topics of interest to developers and investors. More
than 30 Speakers representing leading regional and international
players in the real estate and finance industries and government
officials have been confirmed. The conference program will start
after the opening ceremony with a panel discussion on the future
trends in the Gulf property market analyzing the sustainability
of current real estate investment projects and identifying
future investment opportunities. The second panel will address
the emerging investment opportunities in the Qatar real estate
sector identifying market drivers and opportunities and
challenges to investors and developers. The impact of real
estate development on tourism will be covered in the third Panel
with a case study on the Qatari market. The second day will
start with a panel session on the impact of real estate
developments on governments addressing issues such as urban
planning, regulations, and infrastructure. Financing real estate
projects is the topic of the next panel which will explore
effective financial strategies and fund raising plans. The
conference program will close with a panel session discussing
successful marketing strategies for real estate projects.
Chadi Abou Daher concluded by emphasizing that Estate Qatar 2007
is not just another event on the calendar of 2007 but also a
platform for conducting real business. In this regard, he
explained that the role of World Trade Centers since more than
37 years has been to promote trade and investments through a
growing international network that includes today 300 World
Trade Centers all over the globe. In this sense a World Trade
Center is not only an event organizer but also a business
facilitator.
